I'm Hassib Ashouri, a Full Stack Software Engineer based in California. I studied Software Engineering at San Jose State University, where I got hooked on building things that work well and scale cleanly.

These days, I spend a lot of time keeping up with the rapidly evolving AI landscape — new models, new tools, new ways of building software. It's a fascinating time to be an engineer, and the pace of change means there's always something worth digging into.

This blog is a new step for me. After years of building in relative silence, I wanted a place to share opinions and experiences about the technology I work with every day — what's genuinely useful, what's overhyped, and the lessons that only come from shipping real products.
